YOU Too Can Be "Always Part of the Magic"

Here at the Disneyland Alumni Club, we take pride in representing the Disney legacy, so carefully crafted and promoted by Walt Disney throughout his remarkable life. One way we do that is through demonstrating quality services that symbolize the dream that Walt left the world.

In order to provide all these services and more in the future, we need your help and support.

Because of the special connection current and former Disneyland Cast Members have that started in the only Park where Walt walked, many of our members became part of Walt’s legacy in Disneyland.

Cast Members from other Disney properties (Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris, and so forth) also have their own experience of Walt’s ideas, and are represented in the Club.

Employees of other companies at Disneyland (those not actually Disney employees) are here to share their experiences of supporting Walt’s farsightedness and integrating it into your own company culture.  If you worked for the Arribas Brothers, Bell Telephone System, Kaiser Corporation, Sunkist and all the rest, you were part of Walt’s vision and we want to see you as part of the Club.

Finally, and perhaps most of all, Disney guests have a connection that remains truest to Walt’s gifts – the connection experienced in the Park as Walt’s personal guest.  A Guest’s eyes make clear the perspective Walt left behind – that of being an honored guest in Walt’s own playground.  That perspective makes you an important part of the Disneyland Alumni Club, and many have joined us as together we are … part of the magic!

Membership is open to all.  But insider access to the fantasies Walt left in Disneyland is available only to dues-paying members.  Dues paying members are eligible to take advantage of all Club services and benefits, attend our events, purchase Club merchandise, join our efforts to help the Children’s Hospital of Orange County, get discounted travel packages, and many other things not available to inactive members.  Our hope is that these advantages will persuade you to help and support our aspiration to keep Walt’s dream alive in a more tangible way than just what exists at a Disney resort.

Our Club also keeps Walt’s dreams and vision alive in a real, tangible way.  Our Club mission is to support the Children’s Hospital of Orange County, and to recognize Walt’s love for children in tangible contributions to their work.  All members are invited to help cement our connection and to exhibit Walt’s ideals in a clear and substantial way.

The Club honors the special nature of those that actually worked at Disneyland.  You delivered to guests what Walt’s imagination created.  In recognition, you can register for limited access, or have full access for annual dues of only $15.00.  This applies regardless of where you worked at Disneyland, or who employed you.  We welcome you to our Club.  In addition, no Disneyland Cast Member, regardless of whether or not dues are paid will ever again be dropped from the roster.  Our hope is to keep the connection alive.

The Club also recognizes the connection present and past Cast Members have with Walt from other Disney properties.  You also delivered to guests what Walt’s imagination created.  Although limited access registration is not available, your full access annual dues are also $15.00.  This applies regardless of where you worked at Disneyland, or who employed you.  We welcome you to our Club.

The Club also welcomes everyone that has their own unique connection to Walt and to Disney, whatever your Disney experience that brought it to you.  The Club welcomes you to be part of the magic as Guest Members, and your full access dues are only $20.00 per year (registration-only limited access is not available).

Because of the Internet and the cost-free digital world, registered but nonpaying Disneyland members will receive all emails, be able to visit our web site, and be able to keep up on Club activities.  But only dues-paying members will have access to all the Alumni Club has to offer.  Why? Because … You’re always part of the magic!

Why Become a Part of the Disneyland Alumni Club?

Volunteering in our events is another way to actualize the Disney connection and to ‘work Walt,’ creating our own magic moments in the name of Walt’s first, best Park.  Want to learn or relive being part of the Disney team?  Our volunteer events will deliver that great Guest Service once again—only this time you’ll be part of the magic!

The Club’s vision of keeping Walt’s dream alive is realized through our support of the Children’s Hospital of Orange County.  The benefits provided to full access members cost the Club almost nothing, and hopefully are persuasive enough that you’ll become a full access Club member.  Your dues will help us make that vision a reality as the support and promote our efforts for CHOC.

Our vision of supporting CHOC is the principal purpose for the Club’s existence.  It is the way we will demonstrate that Walt’s dream lives on to benefit others.  The Club is organized by volunteers, all unpaid, and has no facilities and minimal costs.

We all know that Walt created Disneyland as a place where parents could have fun with their children.  Our focused support of CHOC keeps that vision alive in Walt’s spirit, by making as much fun available to the children (and their parents) at CHOC as we possibly can, all in Walt’s memory.  This tangible support eases the financial burden of patients at CHOC through the efforts of the Club – efforts of which the Disneys would be proud.

The Club has also reached out to corporate sponsors that see true value in Walt’s dreams, and plan to contribute to the Club in memory of Walt and Roy Disney to keep those dreams alive.
